How to Detect Unused Images & Remove Them using ThumbPress
Improve your website’s speed by finding and removing unused images with one click. The Detect Unused Images lets you identify images that aren’t being used. You can delete them one by one or all at once, right from your dashboard. Here are the steps to detect unused images on your website:
Step 1: First, Install and activate the ThumbPress plugin by going to Plugins > Add New.
Step 2: Detect Unused Images is a Pro feature of ThumbPress. To add Detect Unused Images on your site you have to grab the premium package. After that, install and activate the pro version on your website.
Step 3: Navigate to the ThumbPress > Modules to enable Detect Unused Images and click Save Settings to apply the feature on your website.
Step 4: In the Detect Unused Image section, click on the Detect Now button to generate all images that are not in use.
Step 5: After detecting unused images, click View Unused Images to see the list of all unused images.
Step 6: Select and click the Delete button on specific images from the list of detected images from your website. Click on the Apply button to delete unused images
