Does ThumbPress keep a backup of my original images before compressing?

No. ThumbPress does not keep a backup copy of your original images before compression. Once an image is compressed, the optimized version replaces the original on your server.

Before you run a bulk optimization, please make sure you have your original image files saved somewhere safe – your computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, or any external backup – in case you need them later. If you ever want to restore an original version, you’ll need to re-upload it from that backup.
